What is it? A 6-8 week work internship at Yale ITS
Who can apply? High school youth with an interest in information technology. Applicants must reside in New Haven, West Haven, or Orange, CT.

The High School Internship Program aims to attract and nurture young people into IT careers. The program was created by a team from New Haven schools, Yale Human Resources, ITS, and vendors Golden Compass and KForce. The program seeks to give students a feel for technology careers as well as let them experience work at Yale. Interns will work closely with a manager to get a feel for what an IT career can provide. Held to the same standards of other Yale employees, interns must be professional, reliable, and hard-working. After a summer of dedicated work and learning, the interns are encouraged to continue to explore careers related to technology as well as to spread the information they have learned among their peers.
