Malcolm Henry Blue, Sr. , 73, of North Haven, born August 17, 1942 in New Haven, CT to Henry Blue and the late Joyce Perry Blue, passed away October 24, 2015 in Branford. Malcolm worked as a chef at Yale for 40 years. He was a family man who was a fan of boxing and animals. He enjoyed the music of Miles Davis, Nat King Cole and Cece Winans. He leaves to cherish his memory: beloved wife Ruby Blue of North Haven; son Malcolm (Jennifer) Blue Jr. of Bethany; daughters Mia (Joseph) Blue-Becton of North Haven, Medria (Malcolm) Blue-Ellis of Bethany and Mendi (Marcus) Blue-Paca of New Haven; father Henry Blue of Hamden; 9 grandchildren and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of His Life will take place on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at Church on the Rock, 95 Hamilton Street, New Haven, CT 06511 with visitation on Friday from 10-11 am at the church.
