We
are pleased to announce that the Engineering and Science University Magnet
School will again offer our students a rigorous summer enrichment program for
middle school students!
The
program will be held from Monday, July 6 through Friday, July 31, 2015 at 130B
Leeder Hill Drive. Breakfast and lunch
will be served daily. The hours of operation
will be 8:30 am-12:30 pm. The program will be available to entering ESUMS
students in grades 6-8, as well as all current 6th, 7th,
and 8th grade students.
Enrollment will be on a first come, first served basis.
ESUMS
MS Summer Program will have an emphasis in STEAM (Science + Technology + Engineering
+ Arts + Mathematics) subjects. The
program’s core classes will feature accelerated Mathematics, Engineering and
Reading programs complemented by Art, Technology and Physical Education lessons. Hence, the overall emphasis is on enhancing
creative and critical thinking skills, teambuilding and problem solving.
