Science Fair Volunteers Needed
Get involved with the 2016 New Haven Science Fair! Sign up to be a JUDGE or MENTOR:
Judges speak one-on-one with the students to hear about their projects before evaluation. Judging is a two-day commitment occurring on Monday, May 16 (4-8pm; first-time judges need to arrive at 4pm for an orientation) and Tuesday, May 17 (9am-1pm). Contact: melanie.s.bauer@gmail.com.
Mentors typically volunteer once a week for 1-1.5 hours. They work in the classroom with teachers to help students understand the scientific method and assist in the early stages of researching and defining their projects.
