ESUMS Summer School Application 2016
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are pleased to announce that the Engineering and Science University Magnet School will again offer a rigorous summer enrichment program for our students!
The program will be held from Monday, July 1st through Friday, July 29th, 2016 at 130B Leeder Hill Drive. Breakfast and lunch will be served daily. The hours of operation will be 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. The program will be available to new students in grades 6-9, as well as all current ESUMS students. Enrollment will be on a first come, first served basis. Enrollment may not be available after June 1 if registration has reached capacity.
ESUMS Summer Program will have an emphasis in (Science + Technology + Engineering + Arts + Mathematics) subjects. The program’s core classes will feature accelerated Mathematics, Engineering and Reading programs complemented by Technology and Physical Education lessons. Hence, the overall emphasis is on enhancing creative and critical thinking, teambuilding and problem solving skills. Rising 9th graders will focus on engineering, math, study skills and technology in preparation for high school.
