A Message from Ms. Blue-Ellis

Parents,
I am honored to update you about the growth of ESUMS.  We are in our 6 year and have a lot about which to be proud.  Academically our program is second to no magnet school in the district or area.
We have 9.5 engineers on staff, and in the past 2-3 years we have made gains in getting all of the engineering teachers certified to teach Project Lead the Way curriculum.  I challenge you to "act like owners" of the ESUMS franchise and share the information in the attached ESUMS Accomplishments document with all who are interested.  At this time of recruitment, we need your help.  Familiarize yourself with new additions outlined in this document.  You will find that there are opportunities for your child as well as other children you may know.  We have expanded our Advisory Board which was established with just a few stakeholders 2 years ago.  The role of advisors is to make sure that our school is well connected with industry so that the ESUMS education is relevant and will yield the highest level of economic return for our students.  Simply put, our students will be employable with an ESUMS education. With your help and the help of our advisors, TEAM ESUMS is ready to move to higher heights.

I look forward to our next Town Hall at which time I will update you in person about many of these exciting new additions.

Educationally Yours,

Ms. Blue-Ellis
