"We are excited that we will have a beautiful day for our annual walkathon Thursday, October 2. We are aiming for a successful event and are asking for the following:
ESUMS has set a goal to meet a school fundraising target of $10,000.
To meet the goal we need 100% student participation in donating. We want all students to show school spirit and support by contributing to our only major school fundraiser.
We have set a $10.- $20. suggested minimum donation and we will have prizes for the top 5 student donators. So do your best and exceed the minimum donation!
If the school does not meet its fundraising goal, there may be a charge for students who do not meet the suggested minimum donation amount to attend school events which are supported by the proceeds. These events include the annual field day, high school picnic, and select field trips.
We know that the start of school has been busy. Therefore, we are extending the fundraiser collection of student contributions to October 17. By October 5, we will also set up a pay account on the website to facilitate making a contribution on behalf of your child."
