The ESUMS chapter of the National Honors Society would like to announce to its fellow pupils that on Monday, January 12th, ESUMS will be holding a "Reading Day" to benefit its students. Throughout the day, there will be various study sessions focusing on either particular subjects or on general study skills. These sessions are meant to help you with preparing for midterms and/or with any general subject matter from your classes. Students who are interested can sign up for sessions in the morning in the cafeteria, but more importantly, they must also get permission from whichever teacher they are supposed to be with during the respective period.
Take note that these sessions are not times to "hang out"; they are an opportunity to receive academic assistance, should you feel you need it. Teachers will be supervising each session and students who are being distractions to those who actually want help will be removed. That said, all students are to either be in a study session or in their designated class period—NOT roaming the halls.
The sessions will be as follows:
7:45-8:30 (Period 1)
Technology in Ms. Manzione's room
General Study Skills in Mr. Smith's room
8:45-9:30 (Period 2)
Engineering in Mr. Copperthite's room
Science in Ms. Meetze's room
9:40-10:20 (Period 3)
General Study Skills in Ms. Roberts' room
Math in Mr. Scionti's room
10:45-11:25 (Period 4)
English in Mrs. Robinson's room
Presentation skills in Mr. Romanelli's room
