ABOUT NEW HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL MATH COMPETITION:
Every spring, Southern Connecticut State University sponsors a competition for high school math students from the New Haven area. High schools may enter up to two teams of four students each. The contest consists of five rounds. The first three rounds are individual rounds that test your knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and geometry. There are also two team rounds one of which consists of a CAPT-style open-ended problem and the other is an "anything goes" round with some really challenging questions for your team.
